I popped the big question to my girlfriend recently and I`m very happy to report that she said yes. We are now in the middle of trying to find a suitable wedding venue that can cater for our special day. We`d both like to find a stunning establishment that can provide us with everything that we will need on the biggest day of our lives. Looking around I have seen a number of locations that Specialise In Wedding Venue. One such place is situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons and the first impressions of this establishment are very favorable. Once a 1930`s detached private property this magnificent building has now been turned into a country hotel. This fiine location can comfortably cater for wedding parties of all sizes and they are renowned for their excellent levels of customer service. The cuisine provided by the hotel that Specialise In Wedding Venue can only be described as being superb. Guests to the celebrations can stay in one of 28 en-suite bedrooms so there will be somewhere for people to rest their weary heads after all the celebrations have ceased. The following morning people can catch up on the previous day`s activities over a good hearty breakfast. We are all excited about the prospect of our forthcoming wedding and the more we look at locations that Specialise In Wedding Venue the more the dream becomes a reality.

Cairngorms Accommodation
I think you can get a good feel for a guest house just by looking at a website. I`ve stayed in countless bed and breakfast establishments over the years and I`ve yet to come across a bad one. The thing to do is take your time when you research accommodation and look at a number of possible contenders before you book. You can normally tell the better establishments straight away just by looking at their home page online. Only recently I was looking at Cairngorms Accommodation whilst I was considering a trip up to take in the delights of the National Park. Whilst looking for Cairngorms Accommodation I chanced across this lovely guest house that had a real warm and welcoming appeal. You get the feeling from the website that nothing would be too much trouble during your stay. The owners had obviously put plenty of thought into their business to make it as appealing as it could possibly be. My trip up to Scotland has been put on hold for a short while but when it finally happens I`ll certainly be booking the charming guest house as I can`t imagine any of the other Cairngorms Accommodation being half as good as this bed and breakfast.

You never know who you`re going to meet. Seven o`clock in the morning started out much like the previous two weeks with perfect weather. There was not a cloud in sight and the only rain was at night, just enough to water the beautiful flowers growing everywhere. Bavarians are spoiled with the moderate summer temperatures -- 85 degrees is a heat wave to them.

Quickly getting dressed, I headed for the nearest bakery/coffee house. The sun was pleasant in the cool air as I munched on crisp rolls and butter and savored the fresh Columbian coffee. My plan was to have no plan, just to walk through the streets, searching out unusual sights to photograph, unusual people to converse with and to discover a possible souvenir to buy.

A small antique-looking sign hinted that a master craftsman in pewter worked nearby. The arrow pointed down a narrow gasse (alley). The workshop at its end was a study in quaintness. Ancient tools lined the walls, every work table covered with on-going pewter objects in different stages of completeness. The artist appeared from a back room and welcomed me to his shop. A half hour of shop talk (in my halting German) allowed him to show off his work and explain some of the steps in the process. Fascinating.

Less than a block away, turpentine smells led me to another craftsman painting a large farmer`s cabinet. He explained that every summer he made a trip into the country searching out old furniture with which to trade. The farmers liked modern appliances, TV`s, and occasionally, cash. They couldn`t understand why anyone would want these beat-up cabinets. When restored, one of these large armoires would fetch up to $2000.

Another sign advertised a recording studio. Though small, the rooms contained the latest in recording equipment. No musicians were in session at the time, so I was treated to a tour of the facilities. It reminded me of the time I researched the location of the AKG microphone factory in Munich, in hopes of acquiring a set of good mikes for my tape recording. An hour`s train ride brought me to a modern building on the outskirts of Munich. The general manager was nice enough to listen to my request and promptly disappeared into the factory. He emerged ten minutes later with two matched microphones. When I mentioned the tape recorder they were to be used with (a Grundig), he said that matching transformers would be needed for these mikes. He brought them over to a worker at a workbench and in fifteen minutes, the small transformers were inserted into the cables. The manager apologized for the scratches in the mike cases, explaining that the damage was purely superficial. Escorted to the cashier, he set a price of $30.00 for both mikes, cables, transformers and cases. The cashier asked if this price was for the cables alone and he told her, no, it included everything! I was ecstatic! I later mailed him a recording of my first effort.

Everywhere I went, nice people added to my repertoire of foreign places, filling my treasure chest of wonderful experiences.
